Neighborhood House of Milwaukee

Neighborhood House of Milwaukee is a nonprofit organization founded in 1945 that serves children ages 6 weeks to 19 years, families, and the community in Milwaukee’s near west side, located at 2819 W. Richardson Place. The organization offers comprehensive programs including day care, after-school programming, summer camps, and family services, along with three satellite facilities: a 93-acre Nature Center, a Community Learning Center, and an International Learning Center that provides ESL and citizenship classes for refugees and immigrants. For over 80 years, Neighborhood House has been a leader in combating inner-city poverty and has served more than a third million children and adults through its award-winning educational, recreational, and health programming initiatives.
