Northcott Neighborhood House

Northcott Neighborhood House is a nonprofit multipurpose community center located at 2460 N 6th Street in Milwaukee’s Harambee neighborhood, established in 1961 by the United Methodist Church. The organization provides education, employment training, food assistance, and recreational programs to youth, families, and seniors, with particular focus on workforce development through programs like the Urban Arborist Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program and the Home Build Program that creates jobs for unemployed and underemployed residents. Northcott also operates a food pantry serving over 1,000 senior citizens monthly and has conducted major community revitalization projects including the development of the Griot Apartments and restoration efforts across Milwaukee’s northside.
