Pathfinders Milwaukee is a nonprofit organization located at 4200 N Holton Street that has served youth in crisis for over 50 years, founded in 1970 by members of Plymouth Church, UW-Milwaukee faculty, and concerned eastside residents. The organization provides comprehensive services including emergency shelter, street outreach, a drop-in center, and housing support to help homeless and housing-insecure youth find safety and stability, serving approximately 5,000-6,000 youth annually. Pathfinders is an LGBTQ+-inclusive organization that partners with numerous community agencies, schools, and city departments to empower young people facing homelessness, exploitation, trauma, and mental health challenges.
