Saint Hyacinth – Food Distribution Center

St. Hyacinth Food Pantry, located at 1414 W. Becher St. on Milwaukee’s south side, has served the community for more than 100 years as a faith-based food distribution center. The pantry, now operating under the Jim Luther New Hope Center, is run entirely by volunteers and distributes between 30,000 and 50,000 pounds of food monthly to approximately 600 families, providing nutritious items including meat, dairy, fresh produce, grains, and personal care items. Additionally, the center serves as an Infant Care Site providing formula for children under one year and offers hygiene products and medical assistance through volunteer nurses.
