UMOS, Inc.

United Migrant Opportunity Services, Inc. (UMOS) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1965 to serve Wisconsin’s agricultural migrant workers, and has since expanded into a multi-state agency providing workforce development, education, housing assistance, and social services. Headquartered in Milwaukee at 2701 S. Chase Avenue, UMOS offers programs including job training, early childhood development through Head Start, health services, and energy assistance across multiple states including Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota, Kansas, Missouri, and Texas.
