Founded by the late Rev Dr. James White, WestCare Wisconsin operates through the Harambee Community Center in Milwaukee, providing substance use and mental health care for youth and adults alongside housing rehabilitation, neighborhood improvements, and community organizing programs. As a nonprofit organization, WestCare focuses on helping residents facing economic, employment, health, and environmental challenges through essential services, support programs, and youth leadership initiatives. The organization’s commitment to community uplift includes substance abuse prevention programs for Milwaukee Public Schools students and specialized care for veterans.
