Green Cares Food Pantry

Green Cares Food Pantry was established in August 2009 and is located at 422 S. Garfield Street in Monticello, Wisconsin. The organization is a tax-exempt nonprofit that serves low-income households throughout Green County by providing approximately one week’s worth of healthy and nutritious food monthly, while also connecting clients to employment opportunities, community resources, and government benefits. Green Cares is the largest food pantry in Green County and operates entirely through volunteers with no paid staff, guided by its belief that no one should be hungry.
