Nekoosa Giant Pumpkin Fest

Nekoosa Giant Pumpkin Fest is a community-run festival organized by a dedicated group of volunteers located at Riverside Park in Nekoosa, Wisconsin. Founded in 1995 as a local pumpkin growers’ weigh-off and expanded under the vision of John Weidman, the festival features carnival rides, giant pumpkin competitions, a pumpkin drop event, tractor and car shows, craft vendors, and family activities, drawing thousands of visitors from across the state and beyond each fall.
