Onalaska Regional Food Basket

Onalaska Regional Food Basket is a Christ-centered 501(c)(3) nonprofit located at 735 Sand Lake Road in Onalaska, Wisconsin, dedicated to alleviating hunger by providing free food assistance and household supplies to individuals and families in need. The organization serves residents across nine communities including Onalaska, Holmen, West Salem, French Island, Trempealeau, Galesville, Melrose, Mindoro, and Ettrick, offering 5-7 days of groceries including fresh produce, meats, dairy, packaged goods, and personal care items at no cost. With 40 years of service to the community, the Food Basket recently underwent a significant remodeling that transformed it into a grocery-store-style operation, allowing clients to shop with dignity while relying entirely on community donations and volunteers to support its mission.
