Markee Pioneer Student Center

The David J. and Lou Ann Markee Pioneer Student Center is the primary college union facility at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Opened on April 1, 2002, the 96,000-square-foot building serves as the gathering place for the campus community and provides experiential learning opportunities, student leadership development, co-curricular activities, dining services, and event hosting for approximately 180 student organizations. Located at the center of campus, the Markee supports academic initiatives while fostering an inclusive community environment that brings together social, cultural, and educational experiences for students and the university community.
