Racine County Project Emergency – Food Distribution Center

Racine County Project Emergency, now known as the Racine County Food Bank, is a nonprofit organization founded in 1983 to combat hunger in Racine County, Wisconsin. The organization provides emergency food distribution services to food pantries, emergency shelters, community meal sites, and social service agencies throughout the county, distributing approximately one million pounds of food annually. Beyond food distribution, the organization offers information and referral services, advocates on behalf of the community to reduce hunger, and collaborates in operating a community volunteer-operated garden.
