St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, located at 4605 Erie Street in Racine, Wisconsin, is part of the Diocese of the Armenian Church (Eastern) and has served the Armenian community for over 100 years. Founded in 1925 as a purchased former Danish Baptist Church, the congregation built a new church building at its current location in 1972 and continues to serve as a spiritual and community center offering worship services, Sunday School, and cultural events including an annual summer festival held the first Sunday in August. The church is named after St. Mesrob, the creator of the Armenian alphabet, and remains an important institution for the Armenian community in Wisconsin.
