Veterans Outreach Of Wisconsin

Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization based in Racine, WI that assists homeless and at-risk veteran households by providing food, clothing, shelter, and programming. Founded in 2013 by community members who recognized a need for veteran support, the organization has grown to operate the James A Peterson Veteran Village, featuring 16 tiny homes and an SC Johnson Community Center at 1624 Yout Street, along with a food pantry serving veterans and their families. Recognized nationally as the first and most successful project of its kind in Wisconsin, Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin has become a model for communities nationwide, with support from local businesses and an active volunteer base committed to helping veterans return to normalcy and productive lives.
