Sunshine Supper

Sunshine Supper, located at 1632 W. Main Street in Sun Prairie, is a free community meal program operated by Sunshine Place nonprofit organization that serves approximately 400-500 hot, nutritious meals every Monday evening from 5 to 6 p.m. Founded in 2010 by co-founder Julie Wiedmeyer, the program is coordinated by local civic organizations, churches, and professional groups who volunteer to provide meal components and staffing each week. Sunshine Supper has grown significantly since its start with just 35 guests at the Masonic Lodge, reflecting strong community commitment to addressing food insecurity in the Sun Prairie area.
