Watertown Food Pantry
About
The Watertown Food Pantry is a non-profit, Christian-based organization dedicated to providing free food assistance to individuals and families in the Watertown School District who face economic hardship. Founded in October 1982 by Reverend Brent Christianson at Immanuel Lutheran Church, the pantry has grown from serving just a few families to assisting 200-300 families monthly, supported by a team of over 80 dedicated volunteers who help with daily food distribution and operations. The organization offers fresh meat, eggs, cheese, and other nutritious items, purchasing approximately 50% of distributed food while also accepting donations from the community.
