Family Promise of Waukesha County is a nonprofit organization initiated by local citizens to address homelessness among families with minor children in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. Located at 139 E. North Street in Waukesha, the organization provides shelter, meals, case management, financial assistance, and support services to help families achieve sustainable independence. Through partnerships with faith-based communities and local organizations, Family Promise prevents and ends homelessness by offering prevention services, temporary shelter for up to 90 days, job training, childcare, and ongoing support for one year after families transition to permanent housing.
