The Women’s Center

The Women’s Center in Waukesha, Wisconsin, founded in 1977, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing safety, shelter, and support to survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, child abuse, and human trafficking. Located at 505 N E Ave in Waukesha, the organization serves as the only dedicated agency of its kind in the county and offers comprehensive services including emergency shelter, a 24-hour hotline, legal advocacy, transitional housing, rape crisis response, and prevention education programs. The center plays a vital community role through partnerships with local hospitals, schools, and organizations, while maintaining a 24/7 commitment to empowering survivors on their path to independence.
