About
The Neighbors’ Place is a grassroots nonprofit organization founded in Wausau in 1989 with a mission to be “People Helping People.” Located at 360 Grand Ave Suite 200, the organization provides comprehensive support to north central Wisconsin residents through food assistance, basic necessities, a community diaper bank called “The Babies’ Place,” and programs including a community garden, Computer Lab, and Community Learning Center. The organization serves over 12,000 families annually and maintains a strong multi-faith and multi-cultural commitment to treating people with dignity and respect.
