Hunger Task Force

Hunger Task Force is a nonprofit organization and Milwaukee’s free and local food bank, serving as Wisconsin’s anti-hunger leader. Founded in 1974 by parent advocates fighting for school breakfast programs, the organization now operates from its headquarters at 5000 W Electric Avenue in West Milwaukee, providing emergency food to a network of local food pantries, meal programs, and seniors while also advocating for federal nutrition policies and supporting community members with nutrition education and assistance.
