Afton Food Pantry

The Afton Food Pantry is a nonprofit organization located at 710 N. Washington Street in Afton, Wyoming that provides free food assistance to individuals and families in need throughout the upper valley communities of Star Valley. Founded in September 2016 by volunteer director Sierra Mitchell, the pantry has grown to establish partnerships with organizations including the University of Wyoming College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the Wyoming Hunger Initiative, and Star Shine, and operates distribution hours every Thursday from 5:00-7:00 p.m., also offering supplemental food programs and meals to elderly and vulnerable adults.
