Poverty Resistance Food Pantry

Poverty Resistance Food Pantry is a nonprofit organization that began in 1987 as a thrift store with a small weekend food closet, founded by a group of single moms. The organization's food pantry, established as a separately-formed 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2012, provides groceries and prepared food to low-income residents in Casper, operating as a no-questions-asked pantry. Poverty Resistance also engages in broader community advocacy efforts and was instrumental in developing Wyoming's grocery rescue program.
